Coffee processing at Spectrum Industries indulges a big process in order to refine the fresh cup of coffee. Coffee processing methods includes the following:
- Wet process
- Dry process
- Semi dry process
The most commonly used coffee processing is the method of wet process. This process involves in immersing the coffee in water, in order to find the unripe fruit or the good ripen fruit.
The dry process is otherwise known as the unwashed method and this is the oldest method in processing of coffee. The coffee fruits are placed in the sun to dry; it normally takes several days to dry completely. Once it is dried, the pulp, skin and parchment are removed.
Semi Dry Process
Semi dry process is the hybrid process. In this process, the coffee fruit is passed through the screen to remove the pulp and the skin similar to the wet process.
